Shuffle Bot uses stored infromation to primarily operate as intended i.e. Ensure you do not hear songs that you ban in your Server via configuration, improve our experience and also provide personalised experiences. Shuffle Bot will never use any stored information for anything that is not listed in this Privacy Policy and no stored information is shared with any Third Parties that aren't listed in this document.

Security

Any databases and methods of accessing data are not available to the public, however some information can be accessed through certain endpoints but only with correct authorisation. Additionally the team would like to remind you that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security, however we take many steps to ensure that we can provide as most secure and reliable service.

Third Parties

All authorized Third Parties of Shuffle can be listed below with their use case. While some information is shared with these third parties it is never anything sensitive.

•   MongoDB — Used for storing all data collected by Shuffle Bot.
•   Lavalink — Used to provide audio in voice channels.

Rights to Data

While using Shuffle Bot you have the following rights in accordance to the General Data Protection Regulations law (GDPR), these rights are;

•   Right to Access — You have the right to request a copy of your data.
•   Right to Change — You have the right to request that your data is updated on our end.

Data Retention

Shuffle Bot doesn't store any data for longer than it must be stored, thing's such as User Profile's can be stored for up 3 Years however will be deleted if the user isn't active for 3 Years or longer.

Some data such as Discord User Identifiers (IDs) may be kept permanently to ensure the service can run effectively i.e. Blacklist's, Statistics, and More. Any concerns regarding data retention can be submitted to [email protected] and our team will respond within 72 hours.
